The opening is 30.5cm square, the size of a 12 inch album cover, so the whole artwork shows edge to edge, and the moulding is deep enough to take the sleeve with the record still inside. About the name: Bacharach is a small wine town on the Rhine in Germany, ringed by medieval walls and towers below Stahleck Castle.

From the shelf to the wall

The best album covers spend most of their lives filed away. Frame the one that started it all, the first record you bought, or the album playing on the night you met, and hang it where you will see it every day. One above the turntable looks considered, and a row of three or four down a hallway turns a collection into a gallery.

Easy to change

It loads from the back. Turn the clips, lift off the MDF back, lay in the sleeve and close it up again, so swapping the record of the month takes less than a minute. The clear plexiglass front arrives with a protective film on both sides, which you peel off before framing.

A gift for the record lover

For anyone with a turntable, it is a Christmas present that lets them choose what goes on the wall.
