Six clear glass panels let the flame show from every angle, while the scroll motif across the door gives it the look of an old coaching lantern. The hinged door opens with a simple clasp, so changing a candle takes seconds. It takes a pillar candle, a ball candle or an LED candle, whichever suits the room.
Black is brushed with antique bronze along the edges, a deep, quiet finish that sits well against dark panelling, oak and stone. White is distressed with a gold brush for a softer, lighter look on a pale console or a windowsill. The white also comes as a pair, lovely either side of a mantel, a doorway or a dining table.
Set it on a table, a shelf or the hearth, or hang it from the ring on a hook or a branch. At 25cm tall it is a compact, giftable size, ideal for a mantel arrangement, a Christmas table or a hallway that needs a little warmth when the evenings draw in.
