Meet the Passau, a storage box with a door that rolls out of the way.
The front is a tambour: a run of wooden slats that slide up in a curved track and over the top of the box, the way a roll top desk works. Slide it down and the worktop looks clear. Slide it up and everything is to hand.

In a kitchen it holds cups and tea where you make it. On a desk it swallows chargers and cables. On a bathroom shelf it keeps bottles out of sight and dust off them. It is 30cm wide, 20cm deep and 30cm tall.
