Meet the Oakhampton, two shapes and nothing else.
A wide flat disc of metal, ribbed in a fine vertical band around its edge, and a smooth dome of milky white glass pushing through the centre of it from below. That is the entire design. No trim, no bead, no bracket on show. It comes straight out of the Bauhaus habit of letting the form carry the decoration and then stopping.
Lit, the glass holds the light and pushes a warm circle down onto whatever is underneath, while the metal disc keeps it from spilling across the rest of the room. Unlit, in daylight, it still reads as an object worth having overhead, which is more than most pendants manage.

The disc, not the glass
The glass is always white. The disc is what changes, and olive is the one we lead with: warm enough to sit against oak and walnut, muted enough that it never shouts. It is the colour that makes this shape look considered rather than novelty.

How high should I hang it over a table?
Around 75 to 90cm from the base of the shade to the table top. That lights the surface and the food without putting a bright edge at eye level.
Does it come with a bulb?
No. It takes a standard E27 screw bulb, so you can choose the warmth. A warm white around 2700K suits it best.
Can I hang two over one island?
Yes, and it is the arrangement it suits most. Space them evenly along the length of the island rather than centring a single one.
How much is delivery?
Delivery is free on every UK order, with no minimum spend. We deliver across the United Kingdom only at the moment.
