Meet the Kendal, a coat rack that looks like a row of piano keys.

Each wooden key hides a hook. Press one down and it folds out to take a coat, a bag or a scarf. Lift it back up and it sits flat again. With every key closed, the wall shows a neat run of warm wood and nothing else.

Tidy when empty

Most coat hooks stick out whether you use them or not. The Kendal only opens the hooks you need, so a hallway looks calm in summer and still has room for the whole family in winter.

Two sizes

Six hooks at 35.5cm for a narrow hall, or eight hooks at 45.5cm for a busier one. It sits well with the Hexham walnut pegs and the Alderton bin.

Choose 6 hooks at 35.5cm wide or 8 hooks at 45.5cm wide. Both are 13.5cm high.
Fixed to the wall with the screws and plugs in the box. On plasterboard, use suitable plasterboard fixings.

How do the hooks work?

Press the top of a key and it tips forward into a hook. Push it back up and it sits flat with the others. Each one moves on its own.

Which size should I choose?

The 6 hook is 35.5cm wide and suits a narrow hallway or a bedroom wall. The 8 hook is 45.5cm and suits a family hallway with more coats.

Is it solid walnut?

It is wood with a walnut tone finish. We call it walnut for the colour, and we would rather be clear that it is not sold as solid walnut.

How much is delivery?
