Meet the Aldeburgh, a flip clock on a block of walnut.

Two drums of black cards with large white numbers sit either side of a polished chrome cylinder. Every minute a card falls forward with a soft click and the time moves on. Below it, a solid block of walnut gives the whole piece its weight and warmth.

Easy to read

The numbers are big and white on black, so you can read the time from across a room. It shows 24 hour time and is set by hand at the back. No app, no pairing, no screen.

It does not tick like a second hand, but each minute a card turns over with a gentle click. If you need total silence in a bedroom, a study or living room may suit it better.

This one shows 24 hour time, so 7 in the evening reads 19. The numbers are large and white on black, easy to read at a distance.

By hand, at the back of the clock, turning the cards on to the right time. There is no app and nothing to pair.
